Steve specializes in tax and estate planning. He has practiced law with Sullivan & Cromwell and was on the faculty at Pace University Law School and CUNY Law School. He is the author of a number of law review articles on tax issues, and three books and many articles on economic and natural resource matters. He is a former technical adviser to the United Nations Centre on Transnational Corporations and former assistant to the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea. He has a J.D., cum laude, from Fordham Law School, where he as Associate Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a B.A. cum laude, from the University of California, Berkeley.
